Here is a young grapevine just peeping out of the grow tube. I’ll take the grow tube off and remove any other shoot, buds, or leaves below the top of the vine. Just leaving the top few leaves and first shoot below the top. We remove the apical tip so lateral shoots will develop on the uppermost buds that remain.
